Nov.
12th. Fell 35 feet off a cliff in a rappelling accident, I broke my
back, dislocated and broke both my left ankle and left elbow, and spent two
weeks at the Elvis Presley Trauma Center in Memphis, TN. By God's
grace I wasn't paralyzed! 1991
(December) A year later I had surgery to remove two rods from my lower
back
1992 (Spring) Locust Fork River, AL, My first
time on whitewater since my accident. That day at the put-in I noticed a
kayaker with a prosthetic arm, so I figured if he could do it I could too.
